A Lasting Legacy: NCIN Program Closes
New Careers in Nursing (NCIN) is a national scholarship program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and the American Association of College of Nursing (AACN). Founded in 2008 to help alleviate the nursing shortage and increase the diversity of nursing professionals. In total, grants have provided scholarships to 3,517 students at 130 unique schools of nursing. Click on the icon to see more about the NCIN legacy. NCIN is no longer accepting applications for funding and the program will officially close its doors in spring 2017. Current grantees and scholars will continue to receive NCIN support until that time.
